Heck Extends Debate Challenge
Henderson, NV - Just moments ago Dina Titus' campaign formally received a letter from Dr. Joe Heck requesting five formal debates, on specific policy topics, before November 2nd. The purpose of the debates is to introduce constituents to the candidates' platforms on the critical issues facing southern Nevada.
"The voters of southern Nevada deserve an open and honest dialogue on the issues most important to them: as Candidates running for office we owe it to the electorate. As unemployment continues to skyrocket, more businesses are forced to shut their doors, and more families lose their homes, it is imperative that we force the tough issues to the forefront. I challenge my opponent to join me and face the problems that hardworking Nevadans deal with every day," said Heck. "Nevadans are struggling to make ends meet. Today, I am extending an offer to open a dialogue between myself, my opponent, and southern Nevadans. It is my expectation that my opponent will agree to put aside our differences and bring the issues that matter to Nevadans to the forefront,” concluded Heck.
