Campaign Update - March 29th

In the aftermath of the health care vote last Sunday, and as the unintended consequences of the legislation become known, our campaign builds momentum as we work to bring a "New Direction" to Washington!
 
This week was full of activity, beginning with a health care rally outside of Dina's office on Sunday that brought 140 people together asking her to vote "NO." Of course, true to form, she did not listen to the people of CD3, rather she voted with Nancy Pelosi - again!
 
Monday I appeared on the Heidi Harris Show (KDWN 720 AM)  to talk about health care and was also interviewed by CNN, Univision, and ended the day with an appearance on Jon Ralston's Face to Face.
 
On Thursday we traveled to the Moapa Valley to participate in a "meet and greet" and learn about the issues facing the folks living in the northeast portion of the District.
 
Saturday was an amazing day filled with grassroots activities. The day began at 7:00 a.m. in Searchlight for the "Showdown in Searchlight" and ended at 7:00 p.m. in Henderson at the Grassroots Nevada event at the Henderson Pavilion. At the "Showdown," I had the opportunity to address the crowd of over 10,000 people leading Jon Ralston to write, "Most crowd-inspiring of early candidate speakers: Joe Heck and, surprisingly, Brian Sandoval. They were brief and hit the hot buttons with enthusiasm."
  
The road ahead to November will be long and hard, but I am up to the task! We must end the wasteful spending, unsustainable deficits, and job-killing policies of Dina and her liberal friends in Washington. The time for theory is over and the time for real-world experience is now! Will you help me restore fiscal responsibility, conservative values, and common sense to Washington?
